Friends and Ecology
It is possible for humankind to forget, for short periods in our lives and histories, that we are of the earth and in it as part of God’s creation...We have left for our descendants an archeological nightmare of toxic wastes, a drastic reduction in the lifeforms which share the planet, and frightening rates of decline in the productivity of soils, the availability of fresh water and the stability of the global climate.
